I am not usually one to take part in memes but this one is very Australian so I couldn't resist! I thought my readers from all over the world might like this. I got this from Reading Upside Down.

- Heard a kookaburra in person. (Yes, there are a few around here. I still love hearing them though)
- Slept under the stars. (We used to go 'out bush' when I was a kid, lots of fun! Not sure I would do it now though)
- Seen a koala. (Plenty of times, in the bush and at the zoo)
- Visited Melbourne. (I've been to Victoria, but not the city of Melbourne)
- Watched a summer thunderstorm. (often)
- Worn a pair of thongs. (Every summer)
- Been to Uluru (Ayer’s Rock) (Only the plastic one owned by the Leyland Brothers, not the real one though!)
- Visited Cape York.
- Held a snake. (a few times, at the zoo!)
- Sang along with Khe San
- Drank VB. (most disgusting beer EVER!)
- Visited Sydney. (I live there)
- Have seen a shark.
- Have used Aussie (and NZ) slang naturally in a conversation. (Habit)
- Had an actual conversation with an indigenous Australian (Aboriginal). (Ummm ok, yes I have talked to a PERSON before, and?)
- Eaten hot chips from the bag at the beach. (Aussie tradition)
- Walked/climbed over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
- Used an outside dunny, and checked under the seat before sitting down.
- Seen Chloe in Young & Jackson’s.
- Slept on an overnight train or bus.
- Been to Sydney’s Mardi Gras
- Have gone bush-bashing. (for those that are unsure, this means driving around the bush in a beat up old car or 4WD. Fun times!)
- Taken a sickie. (You can't be Aussie without having taken a sickie!)
- Been to see a game of Aussie Rules football. (Unfortunately)
- Have seen wild camels (just tame ones)
- Gone skinny dipping.
- Done a Tim Tam Slam. (oohh yeah baby!)
- Ridden in a tram in Melbourne.
- Been at an ANZAC day Dawn Service.
- Held a wombat. (...I've seen plenty of dead ones, does that count?)
- Been on a roadtrip of 800km or more.
- Seen the Great Australian Bight in person.
- Had a really bad sunburn. (worst pain ever)
- Visited an Aboriginal community.
- Seen a redback spider. (several times, unfortunately)
- Have watched Paul Hogan.
- Seen Blue Poles in person.
- Wandered barefoot in the bush/outback.
- Eaten Vegemite. YUM!
- Thrown a boomerang. (not well, it didn't come back)

- Given a hitch-hiker a lift. (that would be dangerous, haven't you ever heard of Ivan Millat?!)

- Tried playing a didgeridoo.

- Killed a Cane Toad.
- Gone to a drive-in theatre.

- Know the story behind “Eternity”.

- Know what the term “Waltzing Matilda” actually means.

- Listened to Slim Dusty. (again, not by choice)
- Own five or more Australian movies or TV series.
- Sang along to Down Under.
- Have stopped specifically to look at an historic marker by the side of the road.
- Eaten a 4′n’20 pie.
- Surfed at Bondi. (I haven’t surfed anywhere but I have been to Bondi though, so maybe a 1/2 point for this one?)
- Watched the cricket on Boxing Day.
- Visited Hobart. (My favourite Aussie city! I really want to live there)
- Eaten kangaroo. (and emu and crocodile)
- Seen a quokka.
- Visited Canberra.
- Visited rainforests.
- Used a Victa lawnmower.
- Travelled on a tram in Adelaide.
- Used a Hills hoist. (that's a clothes line, I use one often)
- Visited Kata Tjuta
- Used native Australian plants in cooking.

- Chosen a side in Holden VS Ford.
- Visited the desert.
- Been water skiing
- Read The Phantom.
- Visited Parliament House
- Gone spotlighting or pig-shooting. ( I have had many interesting experiences in my short life - can't wait for even more! although not necessarily of the shooting variety)
- Crossed the Nullarbor
- Avoided swimming in areas because of crocodiles.
- Listened to AC/DC.
- Called someone a dag. (I AM a dag!)
- Voted in a Federal Election. (very much looking forward to the next one)

- Patted a pure-bred dingo. (honestly, I am not sure if it was pure bred, but my uncle had a pet dingo at one point)
