A Little Bookish - Friday Coffee Chat Co-host
Every Friday, Carin over at A Little Bookish holds her Friday Coffee Chat. Every week she talks about an issue related to books. This creates some great discussion.
This week Carin asked Amy from Amy Reads, and I to co-host. We are talking about the way young women are portrayed in YA fiction and if we feel they are good role models for young girls. We also talk about the obsession some older women have with YA and the young male characters in these books.
So far some good points have been raised, about the acceptance of domestic abuse in YA and the prevalence of rape culture. So why not head over and join in the discussion!

I also love the Kathy Reichs style of writing.
I have read a few of her books, over the years, but not 'Deadly Decisions', although I know that I have it in my TBR pile somewhere.
'Bones To Ashes' was the last book of Kathy's that I read, that also featured Tempe as it's central character and I can highly recommend it.
